Recent Events
In the past, Troop 312 has taken overnight scouting trips which include Egmont Key State Park, St.
Augustine, Rainbow Springs State Park, the Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier, and the Withlacoochee State Forest. The Troop
has taken weekend wilderness canoe trips on the Peace, Withlacoochee, Suwannee, and Wekiva Rivers, as well as backcountry
canoe trips in the Canaveral National Seashore and the Florida Everglades National Park. Every summer the troop attends
a weeklong Boy Scout Summer Camp where the scouts learn many new skills and earn various badges. Some of the high adventure
summer trips have included a 12-day backpacking expedition in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains at a Boy Scout Ranch called
Philmont, New Mexico. The troop has also traveled to the Keys for snorkeling, fishing, and catching lobsters, and to
the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina for whitewater rafting and hiking.
